This blog has two purposes in life. First, to add strength to the many voices concerned about the current (Obama) administration’s policies in the short term and progressive & socialistic trends within this country in the long-term. Secondly, recognizing that formalizing and committing to paper one’s own thoughts and ideas about ideology is one of the best means of self-education I have endeavored on posting those thoughts when possible.
Like many of you that find your way to this blog I am a concerned citizen and a parent. I have three endearing children who’s only idea of big government at this point is daddy equally redistributing a share of each of their ice-cream sandwiches into his stomach. Its primarily because of them, my children, that I have developed such a renewed passion for politics and yes “fear” for not only this current administration but the general trend towards a progressive and big federal government. A few other tidbits about me are:
- Raised in a household with little money but strong work ethics and pride in one’s accomplishments and country
- I am happily married to a loving wife, who selflessly provides not only a foundation for me but our family.
- As far as religion goes, I am Agnostic
- My profession is in technology and I have worked in both startup and corporate environments.
- My education is in both business and technology
- I have quite a few liberal friends that, although are good and often well intentioned people, I quite honestly don’t get and often believe insane
With my experience and always seemingly inadequate academia knowledge I will attempt to provide some different perspective on political topics. Powerful ideas such as capatilism, freedom, states rights, separation of powers, and more… which I truely believe in, yet in retrospect took for granted, are now being challenged moreso than ever. Its the selfish intention of this blog to re-enlighten myself on these powerful ideas in-order to better prepare myself for the upcoming and likely long battle to win our country and freedom back from a evermore so “progressive” & growing federal government.
